My name is Micah Jones and I am an artist, wedding photographer, cinematographer, editor, designer, and writer. I have a great passion for what I do. I love to tell the story of a couple’s love and the magical one day that is the wedding. Capturing those moments when you never even know I was there is one of the highlights for me. I love to capture the pure, raw emotion and love between a man and woman. I also have a flair for high fashion when a couple wants this style. I love creating stunning fashion inspired portraits. I can do a very journalistic and organic approach to your wedding day or I can do a fine art wedding photography approach, or a blend of the two. I can be there just to document your day or I can offer direction to create gorgeous portraits to compliment your story. It is your day so you get to choose. My preference is to do both. I do all of my own editing and album design. Most of your wedding images will be lightly edited but I do like to do some high fashion fine art edits to a few of my favorites from the day. When you hire me I am your exclusive photographer – artist from that moment through the final delivery of your wedding photographs. We photographed and filmed our first wedding in Colorado a few years ago and while we love our destination weddings we are coming back to our roots in Colorado in the summer of 2012. My name is Dakoda and I am a cinematographer, photographer, producer, director, writer and artist. I tend to film through the eyes of a photographer. This attention to composition and my artistic eye is what makes my wedding films so unique and fantastic! I go for a very clean and simple look and focus on the people. I photograph with this same style. When we shoot weddings together, our photos are very similarly styled and when I film it is like seeing my brother’s photos in motion. The difference between us is that I prefer a more simple and natural style in my editing of images. With film my goal is to be as good as the movies on the big screen, nothing less will do. It is after all your wedding day, you deserve it!
